We offer trail rides tailored to your wishes. Private rides that include only the people you bring allow us to make your experience one to remember! Our horses are all family friendly, child safe, and sweetnatured. With farm fields, wooded trails, and mountains we can offer a spectacular variety of scenery for you to enjoy.
What We Offer
Trail Rides
Ridgeline's trail rides are offered every Friday. They are offered on private land in the Mat-Su Valley, roughly an hour outside of Anchorage. We have 2 ponies for children and small adults, and 4 large horses available for everyone. We can take children as young as 4, and adults up to 300 lbs. We also have a cart available for up to 1 guest. Our cart is available for people who are unable or uninterested in riding a horse on their own. Our cart will be driven by an experienced horse hand, so you can just relax and enjoy the trip. Locations vary from Point Mackenzie to Wasilla, Palmer and the Butte.
Horse Training
Ridgeline is happy to offer horse training. After 25 years of horse experience, over 10 years of teaching lessons and training horses, we are now offering our training to outside clients. We train the family friendly horse. Our goal when we train a horse is to create an animal that is friendly, gentle, willing, compliant, and safe. Our horses can do everything from walk politely on a lead through busy showgrounds, to carrying bloody moose carcasses across rivers and down mountains. They are family friendly and beginner safe, making them the ideal equine partner. References available upon request. Consultation is free.
